Junior Field Support Technician

As TrioMed continues to expand, the Company is looking to strengthen its Field Service Team with the addition of a full-time Junior Field Support Technician.

Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the Junior Field Support Technician would be to assist clients by helping instal, set up, and service high-end medical equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation and commission of new equipment and modalities, as per manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of planned preventive maintenance as required.
• Assist in routine inspections to ensure equipment modalities are functioning correctly.
• Collaborate with Senior Technicians and Engineers to solve complex issues.
• Assist with the troubleshooting, and repair any issues that arise with equipment or systems.

• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment, ensuring all are properly stocked for fieldwork.
• Ensure that all work assigned is completed within established timelines and meet quality standards.

• Identify (fault-finding) and solve day-to-day technical problems.
• Any other task as assigned by the Field Support Team Leader.

The Candidate must:

• Have a minimum MQF Level 5 – BTEC Extended Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (or similar qualifications in relevant fields). Students in their last year of studies are also encouraged to apply.
• Be able to follow the assigned work plan thoroughly, work on own initiative, while at the same time have the ability to work in synergy within a team.
• Have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Have a Positive (can-do) attitude and be a good team player.
• Be willing to periodically attend online training modules to ensure up-to-date knowledge of the equipment and modalities as specified by the manufacturer.
• Have a basic knowledge of IT.
• Have a valid Driver’s License.
• Previous experience in a similar position will be considered as an asset.
